Assam is set to receive the 13th Japanese Industrial Township in Assam. These exclusive industrial park are open specific to Japanese investments and promoted as integrated industrial parks with ready to move in infrastructure facilities, with world-class infrastructure, plug and play factories, pre-approved licences and investment incentives.
It may be noted that, India has already 12 Japanese Industrial parks and the Assam park will be the 13th one. A fast track system is also being worked out to with the objective to identify and solve problems faced by Japanese companies in a time bound manner.
