Government of Assam through its Urban Development Department is planning to set up 24×7 water supply for Dibrugah town. It has floated tender in the month of January 2019. The scope of work involves designing, supply, construction, installation, testing, commissioning of intake system, raw and clear water transmission main, raw water treatment plant (WTP), service reservoirs, distribution system, house connections and SCADA including 10 years operation and maintenance in Assam on EPC mode. The work will entail an investment of Rs 183.46 crore to be completed in a period of 30 months.
