Dragon Cement Industries to set up cement plant at Bhogiram

Dragon Cement Industries is planning to set up a mini cement plant at Bhogiram Gaon in Nagaon district of Assam. The project involves setting up a 200 tpd clinker and a 240 tpd cement plant. VSK dry manufacturing process will be adopted to manufacture cement. Main raw materials required for Clinker manufacture will be Limestone and Aluminous Laterite. Clinker, Gypsum, Limestone will be used in manufacture of Ordinary Portland Cement; Clinker, Gypsum and Fly Ash for manufacture of Portland Pozzolana Cement and Clinker, Slag and Gypsum for Portland Slag Cement The project is estimated to cost Rs.49.7 million. The project has achieved statutory clearances.
